 iv Estrup has been a psychotherapist in private practice in Santa Monica, California since 1971. She received her BA in Psychology at University of Florida while working as a psychometrist in the University Counseling Center. She received her M.A. from California State University, Los Angeles. She was certified in the post-graduate training program at the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Los Angeles in 1979. Liv works with diverse populations and is especially interested in the creative process and working with couples. She twice served as President of GTILA, was the Conference Coordinator for AAGTs International Gestalt Conferences from 1994 - 1999. She is currently an Associate Editor of the Gestalt Review (link). Liv returned for advanced training with GTILA in 1991 and became a Faculty Member with Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles (link) in their Los Angeles training program, the European Summer Residential Training Program, and the Couples Training Program. Liv also teaches Gestalt Therapy at Loma Linda University and supervises privately and at a local counseling center. Liv is a member of GTILA, CAMFT and AAMFT. For many years Liv was a long-distance runner, SCUBA diver and golfer. She studied music, mime and is currently an avid photographer. |
